Imagine my shock of landing in Rehab for the first time at the age of 44. On and off for 23 years I have been an addict, I could never understand why my default setting was drugs or alcohol. Never thought I would end up like many in my family.
In utter despair and at my wits end, this is where I ended up. Coming through the gates of Breakthrough Wellness Centre, whilst at the end of myself I immediately sensed a hope in my darkest place. With a family unit in desperate need, I was allowed the opportunity to separate myself for the first time in my life and work on myself.
I need not dwell too much on the facility and premises to that end Breakthrough Wellness Centre is top notch. What is more important to me is my personal BREAKTHROUGHS. Within 22 days my world was turned upside down. We worked through so many personal issues, some I knew of and some issues was buried so deep that I was not aware of them at all.
The care team that helped and guided me with utmost care and love, and sometimes surgical precision has been outstanding, I cried, I laughed, I rebelled, I BROKE!! My life was saved!!!!! The team in fact saved my wife and 2 boys indirectly. The digging went far past the 23 years of addiction it went further and deeper than imaginable.
I can truly say that all the Counsellors, medical staff and the whole team was hand picked by God. I am immensely great full to Morne, Reinier, Linda and Leon for the insight, love and courage, I owe you my life. It is evedant that it is your life laid down for us.
To pen down every BREAKTHROUGH and revelations will take me weeks, for now I will say its time to tackle life and all its wonderfull challenges thank you so much.
