After 8 years of using, I felt that there was no more hope. I walked through the gates of Breakthrough Wellness Centre, and the first feeling I felt inside of me I will never forget, the voice in my head “I am finally HOME!!”
The family of Breakthrough Wellness Centre made you feel that you have been part of them since the first greeting. The food they gave us is world-class and healthy. The first group session I had with the counsellors, was not a session where I got scolded and belittled, I shared my feelings towards my addiction and I didn’t feel judged at any time rather I felt a sense of connection.
The journey of my recovery I can describe like others do in the Word, where Jesus said I will heal the the broken if they call upon me.
